Users with no email address
As an online platform ClickHSE requires each user to have a unique email address in order to gain access to their individual account. Both business email addresses or personal email addresses can be used to create a users account.
There may be an instance where a user does not have an email address or that you organisation chooses not to allow use of a user’s personal email address.
In this scenario you can give a dummy email address to allow the user to login to their unique account. The only downside is that the user will not receive any emails from ClickHSE such as:
Forgotten password links
Training reminders
If you need to create a dummy email address please follow the below instructions
Login to Admin
Go to User management > Add new User
Create the user giving a dummy ClickHSE email address = username@clickhse.training
Once done go to User management > View users and find the person on your user list
Click ‘Reset Password’ next to the users entry, reading and confirming the popups. You will need to record the one-time password you are presented with to pass on to the user.
You have now created the users account with a dummy email and given the user a one-time password. This password will allow them to get logged in by visiting www.clickhse.net which then allows them to create their own secure password.
