What is the health and safety executive?
The Health and Safety Executive (often referred to as the HSE) is the national regulator in Britain who oversee workplace health and safety to prevent ill-health, workplace injury and work related deaths.
The HSE have powers of criminal law enforcement to ensure employers abide by the laws and regulations in place.
