What is a training matrix health and safety?

A training matrix is a method used in a company to plan and track employer training skills, which are generally linked to specific tasks in order to complete particular duties within their role.

This many involve an employee completing several training modules across different disciplines.

Historically this would have been linked to an employees training file/card.

However, modern online training systems now take this type of training matrix to a new level by automating, recording and tracking all training online.

This type of software is known as a LMS (learning management systems)

This offers managers a quick and easy way to record, review and maintain all staff training records whilst identifying any training gaps (gap analysis) that may need attending to.
