What are the 5 steps to a fire risk assessment?
Like any approach when assessing risks, follow the key five steps:
Identify the hazards. You must carry out various actions to identify hazards in your workplace
Determine who might be harmed and how along with the severity
Identify risks and decide on what precautions to take
Record all findings and capture any evidence such as photos
Review and update; and repeat as necessary.
