What are the 5 steps to a fire risk assessment?

Like any approach when assessing risks, follow the key five steps:

• Identify the hazards. You must carry out various actions to identify hazards in your workplace

• Determine who might be harmed and how along with the severity

• Identify risks and decide on what precautions to take

• Record all findings and capture any evidence such as photos

• Review and update; and repeat as necessary.
