How and when should you report health and safety risks?

Any workplace can pose dangers to health and safety of people and your employer will have carried out risk assessments to identify risks and remove or minimise them.

If you identify a risk that could pose harm you should act quickly to report this to your employer, manager, or safety rep as soon as possible.

If you have an ongoing concern about a risk that your employer has not or is not taking measures to minimise you can contact the Health and Safety Executive in the UK.
