SOVC Safeguarding Children from Abuse

For people who work or are involved with children who may be at risk of abuse. This interactive course covers; Definitions of abuse, Types of abuse, Causal factors, Signs and symptoms of abuse, and what to do if you are concerned that a child is at risk of abuse. There are illustrative Case scenarios, and a brief overview of Legislation and, policy relating to safeguarding children, including Whistle Blowing Responsibilities.

SOVC Pro edition Level 3: explores the problems that vulnerable children can face and the steps staff should take if they have any concerns. The course covers how to respond to problems and provides your staff with practical tips and pointers for maintaining a professional relationship with children and creating a safe, positive environment for them.

The course is fully interactive with mission sections to test your new found knowledge, along with a self-assessment test paper.
